 ave gone through countless changes in their relatively short career\, but w
 ith each shift\, they have made a distinct new impression and turned more a
 nd more heads. The group's early years were a mix of lo-fi pop and tongue-i
 n-cheek easy listening with a touch of punk rock ideals borrowed from their
  early skateboarding days. Along with a prepubescent Bright Eyes and a rece
 ntly formed Cursive\, the band was one of the seeds that spawned the explos
 ive Omaha scene as well as a flagship act for the highly regarded Saddle Cr
 eek Records. With each release\, the band moved more and more away from the
 ir guitar rock past towards keyboard driven dance music. With an explosive 
 live show featuring video and an intense stage presence\, The Faint have be
 come not only one of the best selling acts on the Saddle Creek label\, but 
 a top concert draw across the US.\n\nBuzzy glam rock fashion plates LADYTRO
 N came together in a jet-set miracle in mid-1998. Daniel Hunt and Reuben Wu
 \, who lurk in the background playing rhythm boxes and keyboards in the ban
 d\, settled in Liverpool after a spate of DJ work in Japan and world travel
 \, including a train trip in Bulgaria where they met vocalist Mira Aroyo. H
 elena Marnie\, who also sings and plays keyboards for the group\, also join
 ed them and they began work on their first album 604. The release brought a
  wave of critical attention with writers extending into jubilant metaphor t
 o describe the band's unique electronic pop sound.\n\nCROCODILES are a two-
 piece from San Diego\, USA formed in 2008 playing lo-fi new wave\, featurin
 g former members of The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower. So far they have 
 released a 7” on Zoo Music\, and have two forthcoming split 7”s with a numb
